About Us
Founded in 2010, CC&E is a corporation located near Pittsburgh, PA. Our staff is composed of chemical and mechanical engineers and field technicians who average over 25 years experience working together on combustion and emission related projects in power plants, paper mills and other industrial facilities across the U.S. and abroad. Our collective knowlege, specialized skills and experience in this field are unmatched.
Our engineering and technical staff have a detailed understanding of the combustion process, furnace operation, pollution control systems, and the sampling, measurement and analysis of all combustion process outputs. Our technical staff is thoroughly familiar with EPA test methods and ASME power test codes and have conducted hundreds of boiler test projects on nearly all types of fossil-fueled boilers. This knowledge, capability and experience, combined with our CFD modeling capabilities have enabled our engineers to solve combustion-related problems of many types.
Our engineering staff has supplied air NOx control systems of various types to power plants and industrial facilities. Supply of such systems has included proof-of-concept demonstrations, baseline boiler testing, CFD process modeling, detailed process and system design, equipment selection and procurment, control logic programming, retrofit and new construction management, system startup, commissioning and optimization testing.
